Chapter 7: Using Other File Scavenger® Features

Creating a disk image file

You can use File Scavenger® create a disk image file of a drive in working order. For partially faulty drives with bad media spots, our Disk Recoup™ can be much more effective.

Drives not detected by the computer BIOS must first be physically repaired.

To create a disk image file with File Scavenger®, select the subject drive in the Look In box:
