Label: The label of the volume.

Volume: For an active volume, this is the drive letter assigned by Windows® to the volume. For a defunct or otherwise inactive volume, this is a number indicating the order in which the volume was detected by File Scavenger®.

Starting sector: The disk position where the volume was found.

Size: The total size of the volume including unused space.

File system: The type of file system on the volume. File Scavenger® supports NTFS and FAT/FAT32. Recovery from FAT/FAT32 volumes usually provides mixed results. See “Chapter 11: FAT and FAT32 Partitions.”
