Fee-Based RAID Analysis Service

To reconstruct a broken RAID, you will need to know the following settings:

  • Disk order.

  • RAID level (0 or 5) and parity rotation.

  • Striping Block Size.

  • First Sector values.

Determining the correct settings is the most difficult aspect of RAID recovery. For a fee we can work with you to determine them. You are provided with instructions to create trace files and upload them to us. We analyze the files to determine the correct settings. This service typically costs from $350 to $1,200. The turnaround time is typically half a day to a day. The fee includes a license of File Scavenger ® and is refunded if data is not recovered.

We can recover special RAID configurations such as RAID6, RAID 0 over RAID 5 (RAID 50), etc. We can recover many file systems including NTFS, FAT, Ext3, HFS, HFS+, UFS, XFS, etc.

Our success rate is 85 to 90%. When the disks have not been overwritten, the success rate is almost 100%.

You can also send us the drives for offsite recovery at a higher fee. This will take about 2 to 3 days due to shipping.
