Note that the error messages display the range in which the bad sectors are located. But the error messages do not tell you the exact position of the bad sectors. By excluding an entire range, you may exclude some good sectors as well. Saving the list of bad sector numbersYou can conveniently save the list of bad sectors in the Sector Exclusion dialog so that they do not need to be typed in again if File Scavenger® is restarted. To do that, save the File Scavenger® session to a file and reload it later. The excluded sectors will be restored. See “Saving and Restoring a File Scavenger® Session” earlier in this chapter.
